Warranty & After-Sales

Here's what happens if something goes wrong with a Bambelou toy, at every stage after you've bought it.

Within Your First 30 Days

Whether you've simply changed your mind or received something faulty, our Refund Policy covers you for the first 30 days – including your first 14 days as a legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regardless of the reason.

Faulty Items: Covered for 12 Months

Cover doesn't stop at 30 days. If a toy turns out to be faulty, damaged, or not as described, you're protected for a full 12 months from delivery, in line with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. That means:

  • A free return – we arrange collection or a prepaid label, at no cost to you
  • Your choice of a full refund, replacement, or repair, once we've received and checked the item
  • This applies regardless of whether the original packaging has been kept

Your Rights Beyond 12 Months

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods sold in the UK must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described – and that protection doesn't simply expire at 12 months. Depending on the nature of the fault and how long a product of that type should reasonably be expected to last, you may still have rights beyond our 12-month cover. In the first 6 months after delivery, a fault is generally presumed to have been present at the time of purchase unless we can show otherwise; after that, the burden shifts and you may need to show the fault existed at delivery. If you're ever unsure where you stand, get in touch and we'll talk it through honestly – we'd rather explain your options clearly than leave you guessing.

How to Make a Claim

Email hello@bambelou.me or call 07873 376060 (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm) with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the fault
  • A photo, if possible – it often helps us sort things out faster

We reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.

For full terms, see our Refund Policy. This page doesn't replace it – it's here to make the after-sales part easier to find.
